Device Simulator Extension ("we", "our", or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how our Chrome extension handles user data.

We do NOT collect any personal information. The extension operates entirely on your local device and does not transmit any data to external servers or third parties.

Local Storage

The extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

• Device Selection: Your preferred mobile device frame choices
• Display Settings: Zoom level, orientation, and view preferences
• Simulator History: URLs and devices you've previously simulated (stored locally only)
• User Preferences: Interface settings such as dark mode, background colors, and other customization options

All of this data remains on your local machine and can be cleared at any time by removing the extension or clearing your browser data.

Permissions Explanation

The extension requests the following permissions to function properly:

• activeTab: To access the current tab's URL for loading into the simulator
• storage: To save your preferences and settings locally
• scripting: To inject the simulator interface onto web pages
• tabs: To create new windows for the simulator interface
• debugger: To emulate device characteristics like user agents and screen dimensions
• Host permissions: To load any website within the device simulator frames

Third-Party Services

This extension does NOT use:

• Analytics or tracking services
• Advertising networks
• External APIs or servers
• Any third-party data collection tools

Data Sharing and Sale

We do NOT:

• Sell user data to third parties
• Transfer user data to third parties
• Share any user information with advertisers or marketing companies
• Use data for purposes unrelated to the extension's core functionality

Children's Privacy

This extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected or transmitted, the extension is safe for all ages.
